Constructed of Port Orford cedar with a distinctive Japanese blue tile roof, this home is truly one of a kind. The incense cedar interior and panoramic ocean views calm the senses making this home a haven of relaxation. If the view alone is not enough to calm the nerves, Hale Honu is within walking distance to the world renowned Honua Spa at the Hotel Hana Maui, where one can be pampered body and soul. Or perhaps one would prefer a private ocean front massage on one of the four Paulope wood decks that surround the house. It is all possible at Hale Honu.

The large downstairs living room is generously decorated with local art, and is the perfect place to relax and read a book from the extensive library for ones reading pleasure. There is even a sunny reading room with daybeds if one prefers a little extra privacy. The living room opens onto a spacious bi-level Paulope hard wood deck through Artisan-Crafted teak sliding glass doors. The downstairs bathroom has a gorgeous hand painted sink and enjoys a beautiful blue tiled shower room on the side deck.

The spacious kitchen is appointed with modern appliances and custom sea-colored tiling throughout. The dining room is furnished with a beautiful teak table built by a Hana artist, which seats six comfortably. There is a large window seat which one may relax upon while scanning the horizon through the huge picture windows. Light filters in from above the window seat through a German green glass skylight which creates a calming atmosphere perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The large master bedroom occupies the entire ocean side of the home's upper level. With 180¡ unobstructed ocean views, a custom Hawaiian King sized bed, private bathroom, and private balcony; this room truly is luxurious. Be soothed to sleep by the gentle sound of the waves crashing on the rocks below, and awaken to a beautiful view of the sunrise over the horizon. The Italian-tiled master bath boasts a walk-in bathtub and shower for ultimate relaxation. Amenities of the master bedroom include a large screen T.V., large corner desk, fax/copy machine with answering machine and high-speed internet capabilities.

The upstairs guest room faces west with a gorgeous mountain view. The room is furnished with a king size bed which can be converted to two twin beds upon request. It also has its own private Italian Tiled full bathroom.

The very private downstairs guest room with garden view is furnished with an antique queen size bed which belonged to Claus Spreckels, the "Sugar King" of Hawaii. There is also a small couch to relax on, a dresser and ample closet space.

For reservations that will occur more than 60 days in the future, a 50% deposit is required at the time the reservation is made. Balances are due no later than 60 days prior to arrival. Balances will be applied to the credit card we have on file and a reconfirmation will be mailed or e-mailed.

For reservations occurring within 60 days, payments are due in full at the time the reservation is made.

Payments may be made by check (time permitting), or major credit card.

• There will be a $100 cancellation fee for all cancellations.
• Cancellation notices are required 60 days prior to arrival in order to receive refunds on reservations.
• Cancellation notices received less than 60 days prior to arrival will be refunded on a pro-rated basis for each day the accommodation is re-booked.
• If you check out prior to your registered check out date, refunds will be given on a pro-rated basis for each day the accommodation is re-booked.
• For reservations occurring within 60 days from the time the reservation is made, reservation is non-refundable unless accommodation is re-booked.

CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION:

• There will be NO functions, weddings, receptions, gatherings or parties held at the property.
• Owner or its agents may enter the property at reasonable times to make repairs.
• Guest must immediately notify Owners agent (Hana Bay Charters and Accommodations) of any damages to the property.
• Guest shall be liable for all acts of family, employees or other persons invited onto the property
• No pets are allowed on the property
• Guest shall abide by House rules of the Owner
• Guest shall be responsible to return all keys or a charge will be incurred
• Guest understands that Owners would not rent their property unless these conditions are accepted by the Guest.
• Should the TV, stereo, VCR, BBQ, or other mechanical device become inoperable during a rental the contract and rate will not be void or altered. Owner/agent will at all times attempt to correct problems.
